Herbert Howard Eisenbraun
Herbert Howard Eisenbraun, 68, of Cuyahoga Falls, was called home by his Lord on October 24, 2009. Born on November 4, 1940 in Creighton, South Dakota, he was the eighth child born to Herbert and Emma L. (Willuweit) Eisenbraun in a family of 10 children. He attended Wall High School (South Dakota) where he graduated in May 1959. Herb went on to serve his country in the US Army (1962-1966). In August 1964 he married his true love, Janet Wagner. Together they raised three boys, Herbert (Lonnie), Timothy and Jeremiah. Herb accepted Jesus as his savior in 1973 and was a faithful member of Ernest Angely’s Grace Cathedral. As a devoted servant of the Lord, Herb volunteered to drive the church bus, was a Levite and parking lot attendant and enjoyed singing in the Octet for 7 years and Angels’ Grace Cathedral Choir for more than 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet; sons, Lonnie (Jennifer), Timothy (Elizabeth) and Jeremiah (Alexandra); brothers, Delbert and Ivan of Wall, S.D., Andrew of Rapid City, S.D., and Paul of Columbus, Ind.; sisters, Annette Geigle of Wall, and Esther Carsten and Wanda Goodrich, both of Rapid City; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Emma L. Eisenbraun; his brother Lester and sister Betty Helms. Calling hours will take place at Grace Bible College, 1055 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312 on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 11 am to 12 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12 pm. The Reverend Bob Hoffman will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
