Tina Marie DiBona, age 67, went home to be with the lord on December 14, 2022 after a tough battle with cancer.

Tina was born in Akron, Ohio on September 18, 1955, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Rosalie Smith.

In addition to her parents, Kenneth and Rosalie Smith, Tina is preceded in death by her grandmother, Regina Scianna.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Denielle (Walter) Carey and Joe (Melanie) DiBona; grandchildren, Donovan (Kayla), Giovanni, Audrey and Maddox. She will also be greatly missed by her two brothers, Jim (Diane) Smith, Tim Smith and her beautiful niece Shannon Smith.

Tina doted on everyone she loved, including a host of family and friends; Mark, Gabrielle, Rachel, Natalia, Peyton, Silvia, Laura, Shawna and she absolutely loved her cat... Queen Isis; who saw her through a lot of tough and challenging days.

Tina's family would like to extend a warm thank you to those dear friends who came to visit and made her feel so special; Lori (George) Frost, Denise Robinett, Aimee Harkleroad, Shalee Watkins and Lori Heinz

Tina spent majority of her career working at Tops and Finest, where she also took on the role as a union steward. When Tops closed its' doors, she started at Home depot as a Kitchen Designer, and it was there she retired.

Tina recently moved back to Akron from Cincinnati where she spent the last 15 years.

Tina loved her family so much, she took every opportunity to travel to them. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister and friend that any person could ever ask for.

Tina enjoyed life and was looking forward to so many things with moving back to her hometown. This included traveling with her friends to see out of town family, watching her grandchildren play sports, graduate and marry, and enjoyed large gatherings with the people she loved. She will be greatly missed.

The family invites you to sign the online guest book and share fond memories.
