Rosemary Lewis, "Rose", age 70 of Akron, Ohio, died peacefully in her sleep on August 13, 2022 at her home.
Rose was born on June 18, 1952 in Akron, the daughter of the late John F. and Delores (nee Mostyn) Stanley.
She was an LPN since 1972 is several facilities. She enjoyed bowling and playing games on her ipad and dining out. Rose also watched the game show network. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Donald E. "Don" Lewis, whom she married on October 5, 1990; her children, James Wesley Gryder, James Lewis and Shawn Lewis; her grandchildren, James "Jimmy", Jesse and Jordon Gryder and Lauren Lewis.
Also surviving is her siblings, John (Janet) Stanley, Anne Miller and Caroline (Joseph) Lammlein and many nieces and nephews, Brian (Carrie) Stanley, Beth Gregory, Melissa (Steve) Parks, Shannon (Michael) Cottle, Bill Stanley and Erin Stanley and their families.
Other than her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and William "Bill" Stanley; and her aunt, Claire Mostyn.
There will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
