Pamela Jane Phillips, "Pam", age 53 of Akron, Ohio, died on August 9, 2022 after a battle with cancer.
She was born on January 12, 1969 in Wadsworth, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert Charles and Brenda Joan (nee Ingham) Phillips.
Pam was a pharmacy technician at the Copley Road Walgreens for 25 years. She enjoyed baking, and her specialty was chocolate chip cookies, however, her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her children.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robert S. "Rob" Phillips, whom she married on March 16, 1994; and her two children, Joshua Phillips and Caitlin (fiance, Andrew Wegierski) Phillips.
Her two sisters also survive, Denise (Donny) Snyder and Marsha (Nick) Speegle and her nieces and nephews, Daniel (Brea) Snyder, Lisa (Tim) Glendinning, Jill (Andrew) Robinson, Emily Speegle, Kaylee (Skylar) Downey, Michelle Hanshaw, Louis (Cassie) Ciccone and Vincent Ciccone; and her great-nieces and great-nephews.
Other than her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Byrd.
Per Pam's request there will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
