Judith Kay Davis, 80, passed away June 6, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to James and Catherine (Long) McGuire, she resided in the Akron area most of her life. Judy was a longtime member of the Hibernians Club and Orioles as well as St. Augustine Church. She taught over 40 years at 3 different schools named St. Joseph. Judy enjoyed socializing with friends and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Davis; sister-in-law, Sharon McGuire. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, Jim McGuire, Frank (Deanna) McGuire; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a private graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Judy's name to the DAV.
