Edith Anne Bowman, 89, of Akron, passed away surrounded by her family on November 19, 2021. She was born on November 1, 1932 in Akron, Ohio. Edith was a dedicated homemaker who adored her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, David Bowman Jr. Left to cherish Edith’s memory are her children, Douglas (Donna Iannotti) Bowman, Cheryl (Edward) Forney, and Denise (Sue Vitulo) Bowman; granddaughters, Sara Forney and Deanna Bowman; great-grandson, Murphy Herdman; brother, David (Fran) Pearch; nephews, Danny and Steven; niece, Karen Sue; cousin, Joyce Gerber; and loyal and loving friends, Betty and Jerry McCarty.
Per Edith’s request, there will be no services or visitation. She will be reunited with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
