Colleen L. (nee: Darling) Bliss passed away on July 24, 2021 in Green, Ohio. She was born May 23, 1923 in Kent, Ohio to Frank and Eva Darling, where her father taught school in nearby Tallmadge.
She graduated from West High School Akron class of 1941 and worked at many secretarial jobs after Akron Business School. She lived in the Akron area her whole life, except for 25 years in Southern California, returning to Akron in 2005 to live her remaining years. She loved watching the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indians.
She is survived by son, Frank Andrews (Susan) of San Marcos, California, and Fred Andrews (Kathy) of Green; devoted granddaughter, Erin Andrews of San Francisco, California; and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Ohio.
Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron is in charge of arrangements. She will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park next to her mother.
