Barbara E. Goodyear, 59, of Akron, passed away peacefully with her children at her side on July 15, 2021. She was born in Akron on November 16, 1961 to Lorena Reed, and the late Robert Reed. Barb was employed by Newell Rubbermaid for 23 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, cooking, fishing, camping and loved having cookouts.

Barb is now joined in heaven by her late husband Glenn R. Goodyear, whom she was married for 33 years. She will be deeply missed by her children, Misty (Steve), Brian (Carrie), and Shaun (Ruthie); mother, Lorena Reed; siblings, Rebecca Haggard (David) and Robert Reed; grandchildren, Trysten, Autumn, Miranda, Jacob, Taylor, Chloe, and Matthew; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, John Goodyear (Tracey), and sisters-in-law, Bernadette (Tom), and Vicki (Jimmy). She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Reed.
