David "Dave" Paul Pickering
1963 - 2021

David “Dave” Paul Pickering, age 58, of Springfield Township, died on Monday, May 10, 2021. Dave was born March 27, 1963 in Akron. He graduated from Springfield High School and was a certified welder. He loved his family and also animals. David enjoyed hiking, fishing, riding 4 wheelers and his tractor, mowing the yard, walking his dog, feeding his raccoon, taking his truck off-roading, and most importantly spending time with his family especially his grandkids. Dave was also a sports fan and often watched football, car racing and wrestling. He even got to ride on the Goodyear Blimp – twice! And without a doubt, David will be remembered for his sense of humor and for playing practical jokes.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Taylor Pickering; daughter, Karalee; brother-in-law, Jack Weinsheimer; and mother/father-in-law, Karen and John Weinsheimer.

He is survived by loving wife, Keverlyn Pickering; daughter, Brittany Pickering; son-in-law, Scott Nealis; son, Kelly Deem; son-in-law, Daren Varner; grandkids, Kyla & Kayleena Laughlin, Baylee, Zuri and Londyn Nealis, Dylan Varner, Johnathan, Isaiah & Savannah Deem, Kenzie Sargent, Braidon Parr, Kaide Parr-Laughlin; sister-in-law, Vicki Karr (JD Williams); brother-in-law, John (Cheryl) Weinsheimer; sister-in-law, Lois Weinsheimer; brothers, Ronald Pickering, Donald Pickering; several nieces and nephews; and extended family, Randy (Dee Dee) Tucker, and Robert Laughlin “BJ” (Rachel Parr).
