Eddie was preceded in death by his father, sister Kimberly, and brothers Stevie and Larry.
He will be dearly missed by his mother, Sylvia; daughters, Tanya (Ricky) Elliott, Madeline Dodson, and Chelsea Dodson; step-children Tiffany Czirok and Tyler Mullinax; grandchildren Mason, Kailee, Izzabella, Rosalie, and Sophia; sisters Rebecca (Debbie Jones) Dodson, Dorothy (Gary) Noble, Lori (Larry) Muiter, Shelley Knutty; brothers Christopher Dodson, Gene (Patty Joy) Dodson, and Jeffrey Dodson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many dear friends, to whom Fast Eddie says goodbye.
Eddie earned an associate's degree in automotive technology from Stark State College. He enjoyed working on cars, hunting, fishing, Westerns, reading, and listening to country music. Eddie was also a talented cook, and story teller. He was a huge Cleveland sports fan, and cheered for his Ohio State Buckeyes.
Visitation will take place on Friday, June 26 from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m., with a memorial service following at 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Please observe all social distancing guidelines. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to help defray funeral costs for Eddie's family.
