Parviz Hamed of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9th, 2020.
Mr. Hamed emmigrated from Iran, and was very proud of his Persian heritage and family. He loved Azari and classical music and the Persian culture. Parviz was a beloved husband, father and friend, and had a supportive network of friends. He held a Masters Degree from The University of Akron. Parviz worked as a chemical engineer, and had a high work ethic and several patents.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-four years, Zobeideh "Pari" Hamed; children, Paris Richard Hamed, Ali David Hamed, Nassim Mir Mozaffari, David Mohammad Mir, Nader Damien Hamed; and seven grandchildren, Logan Jasper Mir, Gavin Javeed Mir, Easton Naser Mir, Kathryn Jaleh Hamed, Alexander Anderson Hamed, Lily Lucia Hamed, and Molly Grace Hamed. He is also survived by two sisters Homa Samway, and Sima Miska.
A memorial service will be held at the Akron Hilton DoubleTree at 3150 West Market Street in Akron Ohio, on Saturday February 22nd at 11:00 am until 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Parviz's name may be made to The American Heart Association.
