Jack S. Landon, 84, of Hartville, went to Heaven on Thursday July 12, 2018. Jack was born to Floyd and Eva Landon on September 17, 1933. He was a proud veteran in the US Army. He married Kathleen Park November 17, 1957. Jack worked in several grocery stores in Upper Sandusky before moving his family in 1975 to Houston, TX to attend Gulf Coast Bible College. Upon graduation, Jack returned to Ohio with his wife and son to preach the gospel until his retirement in 1991. They then began babysitting up to 13 kids in Cuyahoga Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Dick Landon, Delores Landon, Bill Landon, Francis Landon, Abby Roach Landon, Roxie Landon Sherman, Phyllis Landon Brown and Glenn Landon. Jack is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kathleen (Park) Landon; daughter, Nancy (Calvin) Rittenhouse; son, Jeff Landon; sister, Shelba Landon Webb; 2 grandchildren, Eric (Rosie) Rittenhouse and Jennifer (Daniel) Geers; 7 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Monday July 16, 2018 from 12-2pm and the funeral service will immediately follow at Fish Creek Church of the Nazarene 4669 Fishcreek Rd. Stow, OH 44224. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veteran's Administration.
