Florence E. "Flo" Rufener
1940 - 2018

Florence E. "Flo" Rufener, 77, passed away at home surrounded by family on January 21, 2018. She was born June 24, 1940 to late parents, James and Pauline Mitchell. Flo was very active with the Randolph Fair for over 40 years. She was involved with the Field youth football cheerleading program, the Farm Bureau, and 4-H. Florence enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking trips to the casino.

Florence was preceded in death by her sister, Susie; daughters, Jacqui and Valerie Rufener; in-laws, Carl (Sr.)and Marge Rufener. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, W. Ernest Rufener; children, Bill (Val), Bob (Melissa), David (Becky), Danny, Cathi (Chappy); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Chuck (Barb), Mitch (Connie).

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held from 1-3pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 followed by a memorial service at 3pm at the Suffield Town Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Suffield Fire Dept. and the Suffield/Randolph Food Shelf. A special thank you to Shavonne and the hospice team for the excellent care she received.
