In Memory Of
Nancy Louise Kovach
1939 - 2017

Mrs. Nancy Louise Kovach passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday night, July 12, 2017 after an extended illness. She was born on April 13, 1939 in Fairmont, WV and was the daughter of Marie and Edward Phares, as well as the sister of William Phares. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Paul D. Kovach. He was with her and right by her side every step of her wonderful life. They shared a great life together with their sons David (Paula) Kovach and Michael Kovach. Family is what made her smile every day. Her love of cooking fantastic food and crocheting was only matched by her love of spending time with her grandkids Caleb and Grace. Her 3rd grandchild, Nicco the dog, gained a couple of pounds with every visit. She selflessly made dozens of afghan blankets that were given to newborn babies at area hospitals. Her home was filled with yarn, flowers, figurines, Fenton Glass and most of all, love. She will truly be missed. She had many nieces, nephews and cousins that cared about her very much, and our family is thankful for each and every one of them. She was a member of Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church in Akron.

Per her wishes, cremation has already taken place. Thank you to Hospice and all of the Doctors who have taken care of Nancy. There will be a celebration of Nancy's life at a later date.

Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
Psalm 62:5-8
