In Memory Of
Arthur D. "Art" Sullinger
1930 - 2017

Arthur D. Sullinger, "Art", age 86 of Kent, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord on June 24, 2017; He was born on July 11, 1930 in Lorain, Ohio.

Art graduated from Lorain High School, where he met his bride of 65 years, and attended Berkeley University.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; his three sons, David, Glenn, and Paul; six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Art was a devoted and loving husband and father, he was always there willing to help anyone, even a stranger. He loved anything with a motor and was known to be able to fix anything. Art was a stock car racer, a private pilot, and a long time motorcycle enthusiast.

Throughout his entire life, he set an example on how one should take care of his wife and family, many times working multiple jobs to provide for them. He gave his life to Christ in 1971, and the family takes great solitude knowing that he is home with his Lord.

Per Arthur's family's wishes, no services will be held. Please send condolences via e-mail at tmsullinger57@yahoo.com or by regular mail.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
