In Memory Of
William E. Raber
1945 - 2017

William E. Raber, age 72, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 due to complications from several different medical conditions. Bill was a unique blend of immense personal strength, quiet perseverance, intelligence, and character. He will be missed by many. The following he wrote himself prior to his passing.
"I was employed as a medical technologist in the lab at St. Thomas Hospital for 9 years followed by 40 years as a transformer consultant at S.D. Myers. I leave behind my beloved wife of 44 years, Marilyn, whom I met while working together at St. Thomas Hospital. I also leave behind my devoted son, Brian, who has unselfishly helped not only me so much in the last few years but also various other family members. I would also like to remember the following: Marie who has been at my son's side and always there for us in time of need, long-time friend Gary Long and his wife Charlotte, a host of extended family members, my second family at S.D. Myers, and our dog Jack.
If you would like to send a gift in my name, please consider "One of A Kind Pet Rescue" of Akron as I was a lifelong animal lover."
Cremation has taken place and per Bill's wishes there will be no services.
