Paula Mae Allen, 54 of Akron, passed away unexpectedly March 22, 2017. Paula was born to Mary Allen on November 6, 1962. She devoted her life around her dog Precious Nicole, her 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Paula had such a big heart, she would help anyone in need. She loved the times cheering on her grandkids sports teams, making sure every child had support.

Paula is preceded in death by her mother Mary; husband Lyndon and brother David.

She is survived by her significant other, Dan Smith; son, Lyndon Allen; daughters, Angela (Brian) Haines, Joannie (Tim) Gingo, Crystal (Gary) Lambach; 9 grandchildren, Lyndra, Alyssa, Landon, Kaydence, Jordyn, Mia, Amelia, Angela and Nathan; dog, Precious Nicole and step-daughters, Jessica and Olivia Smith; sisters, Lois (Mike) Adkins, Dana (Rick) Cooper, Barbara (John) Pancoast; and brothers, James and Robert Allen.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where the celebration of Paula's life will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 11 am. She will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park.
