In Memory Of
Mary W. Brown
1935 - 2017

Mary W. Brown, age 81, wife of John "Bob" Brown, of 37 happy years., died on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Mary had followed him during his career in several moves. She has now made her final stop back home. Leaving all of us behind here on earth until we join her in heaven.

Born in Seattle, WA, on May 3, 1935, yet living most of her life in the Akron area, this was the place she called home. Mary and Bob had been active members of the Wedgewood United Methodist Church in Akron for over 10 years. Anyone Mary ever crossed paths with will tell you what a remarkable person she was with the biggest heart. She and Bob would adopt families every year during the holidays to make sure they could share in the joys of the season.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, John Predico and her grandson, Trent Predico.

Other than her husband, Mary is survived by her children, Sandra Smith, Steve (Meri) Predico, Rico Predico, and Dino Predico; step-daughters Jodi Brown and Michelle (Alex) Tyms; her daughter-in-law, Julie Predico; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 4:00 PM, where Pastor Joe Burkhardt will celebrate Mary's life.
