Philip E. Jenkins, 69, of Copley, OH passed away on October 21, 2016. He was born in Akron, OH to the late Faye and Marylu Jenkins. Phil was a passionate man who enjoyed traveling, hiking, reading history, and staying busy with projects. Above all, his greatest joys were his family and spending time at the family farm. He was the ultimate family man, giving his time selflessly to his children and grandchildren.

Phil will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Barb; children, Katie (Nate) Howard, Kim (Mike) Frazee and Annie (Andy) Crawford; grandchildren, Jack, Eli, Annie, Lucy, Owen, Miles, Mary and Clark; brother, Mark (Marty) Jenkins; sister, Nancy (Jim) Hewes; brother in-law, Robert (Wendy) Martin; sisters in-law, Kim Martin and Jill (Dave) Martin-Ingram; and many nieces, nephews and extended family whom he dearly loved.

In honor of Phil, his four girls ask that you love passionately, forgive quickly, speak kindly, focus on the good, and take a moment to hug your spouse, children, friends and family as time waits for no one and each moment is precious.

Family will receive friends on Friday October 28, 2016 from 10-12pm with the memorial service immediately following at Grace Church 754 Ghent Rd. Akron, OH 44333.
