Zachary "Zak" Givens Morris

Zachary "Zak" Givens Morris, a beloved spouse, father, brother and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the age of 45. Born in Akron, Ohio on March 14, 1980 to the late Gary Morris and Lisa {Perrine} Cavanaugh, Zak was one smooth cat. He was an HVAC technician, and worked at Automotive Electric Service in Akron.

In addition to his parents, Zak was preceded in death by his cousin Dakota Perrine, father-in-law John Crumrine, favorite sister-in-law Jessica Crumrine.

Zak will be incredibly missed by the love of his life and mother of his children, Julie Crumrine; children Jaz and Declan Morris; sister Liz Morris; brother Cooper Morris; uncle Donald (Diane) Perrine; mother-in-law Rita Crumrine; best buddy Bill Thrasher.

Zak was a devoted father, and Jaz and Declan were the center of his world. He was an unforgettable and loyal friend. He was a creative soul, an exceptional guitar player, a talented artist, and was always reading, learning and thinking deeply. His creativity and heart left a mark on everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
