Winnie Mcdonald Wilson

Winnie McDonald Wilson, 109, of Tallmadge, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. Winnie was born in Beech, West Virginia on May 26, 1905 one of 13 children to the late C.M. and Cleora Haught. She was a member of New Horizons Christian Church for 80 years. In her free time, she enjoyed writing letters, sewing and gardening. In addition to her parents, Winnie was preceded in death by her loving husbands, Arnold McDonald and Bailey Wilson; daughters, Gloria Weston and Delores Knight; son, Arnold MCDonald and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons, John (Mary- Jean) McDonald, and Stanley McDonald; 24 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on, Wednesday, April 29, 2105 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday April 30, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jim Bane officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
