Wilma J. Schafer

Wilma J. Schafer, 78, passed away on March 13, 2017. She was born March 23, 1938 in Bath, OH, grew up in Ellet and lived most of her life in Atwater. Wilma enjoyed completing crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and canning in the summertime. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 18 years, Bob; and son, Eddy. Wilma is survived by her daughter, Michele (John Danko) Kinsey; granddaughter, Kimberly Kinsey; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 4-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will take place on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11am with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Stow Cemetery, 3162 Kent Rd., to follow. A special thank you to Altercare of Brimfield and Harbor Light Hospice.
