Wilma L. Riffle
Wilma L. Riffle, 83, passed away on July 17, 2015. She was born on May 22, 1932 in Taylor County, West Virginia to the late Andy and Nita Devart. Wilma retired from both Martin Wheel and DrugMart. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association. She belonged to Wedgewood United Methodist Church. Wilma loved attending Red Hat Society events. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed ceramics. Above all, she loved spending time with her precious grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Riffle; sister, Mildred Yocco; and brother, Charles Devart. She will be deeply missed by her children, David K. (Barbara) Riffle, Larry Riffle (Bonnie), and Cindy (David) Bloor; siblings, Lindy Devart, Barbara Godwin, Polly (Larry) Garzony, Pat Boyles, Rob (Frankie) Devart, Mary Jo Stewart, Sherry (Peter) Alfred, Gary (Debby) Devart; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Joy (Don) Keener, Stella Riffle, and Ginny Riffle; grandchildren, Nick, Ryan (Joy), Anthony, Ashley, Dustin; great-grandchildren, MacKenzie, Allison, Kadin, Elijah; many nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Sonny.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2015 from 11-1 followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Joe Burkhardt officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wedgewood United Methodist Church, 2350 Wedgewood Dr., Akron, OH 44312.
