William G. Stevens, "Bill", 60 years old of Akron, Ohio, passed away suddenly from complications due to multiple sclerosis on January 29, 2017.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 26, 1956 to Wilma and Maurice E. Stevens.
Preceded in death by father, Maurice E. Stevens; daughter, Michelle Stevens; brother, Daniel Stevens.
Survivors include his wonderful wife, Teresa "Terri" Stevens; son, Nicholas (Megan) Stevens; step-son, Robby Wright, Jr.; his mother and step-father, Wilma and Donald Cremeans; siblings, Maureen (Larry Gazdik) Stevens, Michael (Laura) Stevens, Mark Sheppard, and James Sheppard, Jr.; many nieces and nephews.
Bill graduated from Woodridge High School. He served in the Marine Corp.
An avid collector of Hot Wheels, loved fishing and a special Brown's fan, and loved Trans Ams, country music, and hunting.
A special thanks to Terri for her exceptional care for Bill all these years, we love you.
Cremation has taken place and arrangements were entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date.
