William Curtiss Robenstine

William Curtiss "Bill" Robenstine, age 86 of Randolph Township died on Friday, November 18, 2022. Born December 24, 1935 on Linwood Rd., Springfield Twp. and later moving to Stetler Ave. in Ellet, Bill graduated from Ellet High School in 1954.

Following graduation, Bill proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Upon his honorable discharge, he began his career with Roadway Express, then General Metal Powder, finally retiring from Bender & Loudon Motor and Freight as a Cargo Claims Manager.

Bill was a member of Wayfarer Lodge #789, and a 32nd Degree Mason, and was also a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Akron, and Eastern Star, Anna Dean Chapter #595.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents William H. and Nellie {Curtiss} Robenstine, brother David G. Robenstine and wife Bonnie E. Robenstine. He is survived by wife Ruth Robenstine; daughters Nancy (Randy) Jackson and Renee Giermann; step-children Theresa (Tom) Nichols and Mark McCafferty; grandchildren Stephanie (Joe) Wagler, Nathanael and Andrew Jackson, Brian and Laurie McFee; 6 step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren Makayla, Ellie, Josiah, Nora and Lena Wagler; several extended family members and friends.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Thursday, December 1 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Joseph Frank officiating.
