William Edward Rich Jr.

William Edward "Ed" Rich Jr. passed away October 8, 2026, at 60 years old.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Ed graduated from Archbishop-Hoban High School where he met many of his lifelong friends. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 555 in Akron and enjoyed many activities like vacations to the Outer Banks, playing guitar, pool leagues, golfing, and bowling on Tuesday nights with many amazing people including his longtime friends and teammates Mike Tigelman, Bill Weaver, and John Elsig.

Ed is preceded in death by his father William E. "Bill" Rich, Sr. and sister-in-law Pamela Rich.

He is survived by his mother Delores Rich, brother Robert Rich, sister Julie (Gary) Stone, and his children Krystal (Jeremy) Andrews, William (Heather), and Zachary; nieces and nephews Sean, Jacob, Sarah, Garrison, and Eliza; and his grandchildren Kiley, Johnny, Salena, Rosalynn, Jordan, Liam, Freya, Brenna, and Zyren.

Per Ed's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for friends to please make a donation to a charity of choice in Ed's name.
