William Ray Lambert, "Bill", age 74, of Akron, Ohio, died on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 6:20 PM at Akron City Hospital.
He was born in Akron on November 13, 1941, the son of the late L. L. and Mildred M. Groves Lambert.
Bill was a graduate of North High School.
Survivors include his brother, Richard D. (Mary Ann) Lambert, and his sister, Mary S. (Harold J.) Gibbs.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, 5-7 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
Graveside services will be held at Tallmadge Cemetery on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11 AM. Pastor Bill Michaels will celebrate William's life.
