William J. Plante III, 91, passed away on March 16, 2022 after a sudden illness. He was born in Pawtucket, RI, spending most of his time in
Phoenix, AZ before moving to Uniontown in 2005.
He was a wonderful father, a great man, a fantastic baseball player, and a lifelong Red Sox fan. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Bill was preceded in death by parents, William II and Mary Plante; his wife Sydney of 62 years; and granddaughters, Michelle and Jennifer.
He is survived by daughters, Susan and Clara (Jim) Boyskey; son, William IV; one granddaughter, Sydney; five great-grandsons, Zachary, Rian, Neal, Joshua and Michael; and great-great-grandson Wyatt.
