It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Morgan Neal on April 15, 2026 at the age of 61. William (aka Dollar Bill Neal) was born on April 1, 1965 to Morgan and Margie Neal in Dothan, Alabama. He attended Montana Elementary School for 3 years before later moving to Akron, Ohio with his mom and siblings at the age of 9 in January 1975. He attended Lincoln Elementary and McBright Elementary. He also attended Thornton Junior high briefly before joining the Job Corp. He was a fun loving individual who loved hanging out with his friends and family. William was an excellent artist and a great cook. The room was always filled with laughter if he was there. He held several different jobs, the last one being with McJak Candy Co. in Medina, Ohio. He was employed there for 13 years as a machine operator. He really enjoyed working there and cherished the friendships he developed with his coworkers.
William was preceded in death by his mom, Margie; step-mom, Diane; grandfathers, Joe L. Neal, Willie Finn; grandmothers, Lesta McDonald, Victoria Finn; uncle, C.W. Conley; aunt, Willa Mae; brothers, Chester Neal Sr., Charles Neal Sr.; nephews, Lafayette Martin Jr., Cortez Davis Sr, LaShawn Williams, Keijuan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Morgan Neal; sons, Anthony Shropshire, William Alexander, William Smith, Darrayl Williams, Demetrius Williams, Dominic Williams, Dazmon Williams, William M. Neal Jr.; daughters, Tina (Christopher) Brown, Deeann Martin, April Martin, Keauna Neal; sisters, Penny Shropshire, Martha (John) Thomas, Kay McReynolds, Shantorria Neal; brothers, Bobby (Alexia) Neal, John Turner; sisters-in-law, Christine Neal, Renee Neal; uncle, Eric Finn; as well as a host of grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, step kids and friends.
The family will have a graveside service for William on May 8th at Glendale Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
