William "Mike" Murphy
William "Mike" Murphy 57, passed away on June 11, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Akron, OH. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and being outdoors. He was also an avid craftsman, a jack of all trades, and recently started guitar lessons.
He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mary Alice Murphy; brothers, Charles and Patrick; father in-law, Eugene Stoebermann; and brother in-law, Michael Attalla. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Gina; daughter, Katy (Dale); sisters, Mary Frances (Bob), Colleen, Margaret (Dominic), Sue (Mick); mother in-law, Gertrude Stoebermann; sisters in-law, Mary Ellen, Beverly, Trudi (Erik) and Janet; brother in-law, Werner; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 10-11am with memorial service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Per Mike's wishes, please dress casual. Jeans and T-shirts are okay!
