William M. Cabell, Jr.

William M. Cabell, Jr., 82, of Uniontown, passed away, quietly, at home, surrounded by his family on Friday July 18, 2014 after a very short illness. He was born in Ashland, Kentucky on December 13, 1931 to the late William, Sr. and Virginia Cabell. Bill received the Silver Star for gallantry, while serving in the Korean War. He retired from Goodyear after 36 years of service.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his Son, Billy. He was a best friend to all that knew him. To know him was to love him and Bill will be missed by all, especially, his Wife and Best Friend of 60 years, Joanne, Sons, Rick and Jim (Vicki), Brother, Chip (Mary Lee), Sister, Barbara (Tom) Bee, Grandchildren; Trisha, Dustin and Michelle, 6 Great-Grandchildren, Special Family Friend, Cheri, and Loyal Companion, Martini, his dog, along with many other dear family and close friends. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 officiated by Grant Luton. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
