William E. Lefever

William Edward Lefever, 90, of Akron, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026 in his home with family by his side.

He was born on September 23, 1935 to Arthur and Julian (Douglas) Lefever in Akron, OH.

William worked as a Janitor for Firestone Tire & Rubber.

In July of 1962 , he married Wanda Lucille Wheeler. William and Wanda lived in Akron, Ohio.

He was a member of the Eagles Club, American Legion, and the Fish Ohio Club.

William is survived by his loving wife, Wanda; sons, Timothy (Melonie) Lefever and Todd (Julia) Lefever; grandchildren, Michael, Ian, and Haley; and brother, James (Lorna) Lefever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Julian Lefever; and nephew, Mark Lefever.
