William G. Bennett, born January 18, 1947, passed away on August 19, 2012. He retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Bennett, of 46 years; children, Donna (Michael) Hurst and Billy (Kim) Bennett; grandchildren, Krista, Katie, and Jimmy; best friend, Chico Chihuahua; sisters, Lenora Adams and Pansy (Gene) Robinson. He was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Adeline Bennett; and brothers, Gene, Dalis, and David Bennett.
Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
