William A. Spardy

William Spardy, 84, of Akron, passed away April 22, 2013. He was born in Akron on May 25, 1928 to the late Nick and Ines Spardy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Spardy.
Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean; children, Linda (Al) Frattura, Deborah Marcelli, Ray Spardy and Dennis (Kathy) Spardy; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria (Urbino) DiGiacomo; many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Falls Village for their wonderful care of Bill. Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 25, from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Joe Warner officiating.
Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
