William A. Capps

October 12, 1962 — October 2, 2012

William "Bill" A. Capps, 49, went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2012. Bill was a member of First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge. He had been employed at Schotts Metal Products for over 22 years. Bill coached Springfield Youth Baseball.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Capps and Evelyn Liston; stepfather, Carlus Liston; and brother, Clyde Capps, Jr. Survivors include his beloved wife, Stephanie; sons, Chaz and Cameron; sisters, Kathy (Rodney) Thacker and Julie; parents-in-law, Bob and Sally Richards; sister-in-law, Rebecca Richards; nephews, Jeremy and Nathan; nieces, Katey and Melani.

Calling hours will be Friday, 4-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service Saturday, 10 a.m., at First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge, 199 South Ave., Tallmadge. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
