Wilda Channell

Wilda M Channell, 86, of Mentor, passed away November 4, 2014. Wilda was born in Akron, Ohio on December 4, 1927 to the late John and Agnes McKenzie. In addition to her parents, Wilda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert; brothers, Lewis (Red), Leo, and Harris McKenzie; sisters, Mary Huff, Norma Lee Cannon, and Theresa Wilkey. She is survived by son, James (Patricia) Channell; brothers, John (Debbie) McKenzie, Dennis McKenzie, Roy (Alberta) McKenzie; sisters, Angelia Gowin, Juanita (Phillip) Klein, Eileen Gunsett, and Karen (Charles) McCullough; grandsons, Ronald (Terra) Channell, and Glenn Channell; granddaughter, Robin (Thomas) Klein; great-grandsons, Devin Channell, Corey Channell, Braeden Gefert and Caleb Klein; great-granddaughters, Olivia Channell, and Aly Klein. Family and friends may call on, Friday, November 7, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. A committal service will be held Saturday, November 8 , 2014 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd. Akron, Ohio 44319. A funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9:00am.
