Wendy Ann Hrabowy

Wendy Ann Hrabowy, 59, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

Wendy was born in Barberton, Ohio on December 16, 1965 and graduated from North High School.

Wendy's faith was the foundation of her life. She attended church since her childhood and found a church home at First Apostolic Church in Tallmadge for the past eleven years. Wendy read her Bible every day and shared her faith with those she loved.

Wendy was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Marie and Raymond McKenzie.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Morty Nimonso; children, William (Jacinda) Hrabowy, Nicole (Dan) Hunt, Isaiah (Paige) Mackenzie, and Angel Nimonso; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Emmanuel, Jaeden, Nakia, Braxton, Leia, Will, Maddox, Remi, Meredith, Violet, and Nellie; and many friends including her best friend, Sherri.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 6:00 pm at First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge, 199 South Ave, Tallmadge.

Wendy loved everyone and wanted the best for them no matter what. Even in her last few weeks of life she witnessed to a nurse at the hospital where she was admitted. She was a true disciple. If you knew Wendy, you knew the Lord. One of her favorite verses was Isaiah 26:4 - "Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength."

She would quote this scripture when it was hard for her to walk, stand, or even move. Everyday she would cry out to the Lord. Now we rejoice with her that she is dancing with the Lord, her everlasting strength.
