Wayne T. Crisp 84, went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2015. He was born in Akron, OH to the late William and Bessie Crisp. He graduated from West High School in 1948. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army. Wayne enjoyed golfing, wood working and fishing. He also enjoyed coaching baseball and had an active life. He retired from National Standard in 1984.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gretchen; children, Michael (Debbie), Patrick (Gabrielle), Daniel (Kenneth) and Kimberly (Michael) Brown; six grandchildren, Justin, Nicole, Noah, Annie, Kelsey and Michael; one great-grandchild, Adelyn; and many other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday July 13, 2015 from 6-8pm and funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call the chapel from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care Center 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333.
