Wayne E Lanigan, 76, of Mogadore, transitioned into his heavenly home on July 25, 2015 .
He was born on January 31, 1939, Monaco, Pennsylvania to Kenneth (June) Lanigan.
Wayne was an avid sports fan. He was a member of the teamsters for 27 years. Wayne traveled over a million miles over the road. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth (June) Lanigan, Brother, Lee Lanigan.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn , Son, Wayne E (Debbie) Lanigan II; Daughters, June (Thomas) Smetts, Tina (Richard) Smetts; Sister, Kathleen (Bill) Beckman. Sister-in-Law Deanna Lanigan; 7 grand children and 4 great grand children.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015, from 1:00 pm. to 3:00 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road Akron, OH 44305. Funeral services will follow.
