Wanda E. Sayers, 84, passed away Jan. 27, 2009. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elaine D. Hunnewell; and grandson, Geoffery F. Hunnewell, Jr. Wanda is survived by her daughters, Beverly Chester (Terry) and Rita Stevic (Ray); sister, Betty Leigon; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Geoffery F. Hunnewell (Anne); and sister-in-law, Marilyn Powell. Calling hours will be Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be conducted immediately following at 2 p.m. with Rev. Phil Hulgin officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
