Walter K. Ruggles, Sr.

Walter (Walt) K. Ruggles, Sr., age 79, passed away peacefully in the Lord on November 30, 2025 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. Walter was born on September 28, 1946, to Harry and Marie Ruggles. He was a beloved husband, dad, grandpa and brother. Walt retired from GoJo Industries after 36 years as shipping supervisor. He enjoyed camping, Nascar and the Cleveland Browns.

Preceded in death by parents Harry and Marie Ruggles; and brothers Bill and John Ruggles.

Walt is survived by his wife of 52 years Deborah; son Walter (Kathy) Ruggles; daughter Melanie; and grandsons Bryce and Jacob Ruggles; siblings Margaret (John) Baxley, Fred (Louise) Ruggles and Richard (Barb) Ruggles.

Thank you to his Western Reserve Hospice team (Leslie, Wilaya, Haley and Bob) for their care for Walter and myself.

Visitation will be held at Tallmadge Lutheran Church, 759 East Ave. Tallmadge, OH from 10-11 am on Tuesday December 9, 2025 with a memorial service to immediately follow with Pastor Andy Alberts officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
