Walter L. Park, 80, passed away on October 10, 2012. He was born on November 25, 1931, in Jacksonville, OH, to the late Walter S. and Margaret Park. He retired from Reiter Dairy after 38 years of service. Walter was the founder and past president of the Reiter Dairy Retiree's Club, a member of the Copley Lions Club, and vice president of Gallop.
He leaves behind his wife, Gladys, of 60 years; children, Rick, Susie (Leonard) Martin, and Kenny, Randy (Tina) Park; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Dorothy McCort.
Calling hours will be Monday, 4-6 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
