Walter "Sonny" Kelly

Walter "Sonny" Kelly, 85, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2026 with family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio, he was a lifelong area resident. For many years Sonny owned and operated Walt's Cleaning Contractors. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, cooking and spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his son, Ronald Kelly, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Kathy; children, Jerry (Laura) Kelly, Teresa Perrot, Alexis Chirlin; grandchildren, Michelle, Stephanie, Melanie, Taylor, Melissa, Haley, Brian, Amanda, Matthew, Sophie; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sister, Vickie Shepherd; niece, Lisa; nephew, Stephen.

Per Sonny's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Sonny's name to Dr. Bob's House.
