Virginia "Ginny" Mae (Dawson) Offret (nee Farmer), 82, passed away November 4, 2012. She was born in Akron, OH on December 3, 1929.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claire Dawson; second husband, John; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Robin Dawson; mother, Augusta Mae Farmer.
Ginny is survived by her daughters, Diane (Gabriel) Ritzert, Lori (Robert) Sheppard, Susan (David) Lukacik; granddaughters, Amanda (Robbie) Kirby, Abby Lukacik; grandsons, Denny, Tim and Mike Sheppard, David and Robert Dawson; 3 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Rev. Kirk Bruce for his love and guidance, Dr. Susan Bowling for her hugs and strength for mom through 3 years of myasthenia gravis and to the nurses at Summa Palliative Care.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 12 at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 130 Broad Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls, with Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts can be made to Pilgrim United Church of Christ or the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, Inc., 355 Lexington Ave., 15th Floor, NY, NY 10017.
