Violet C. Vannatter "V.V."
Violet C. Vannatter, 90, passed away on December 13, 2015. She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on October 14, 1925. V.V. retired from Akro Mills and was a member of the Eagles Club. She had a gift for gardening and loved being a grandmother.
V.V. was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lexie Poole; husband, Cesco Vannatter; son, Kelley Vannatter; brother, James "Bud" Tanner; sister, Betty Lewis; and great-grandson, Andy Burgy. She will be deeply missed by her children, Sharon (Jim) Cummons, James (Angie) Vannatter, Denny (Debbie) Vannatter, and Lori (John) Miskar; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staffs at AlterCare of Hartville and Crossroads Hospice for all the loving care given to V.V.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
