Vincent Michael Pedulla

Vincent Michael Pedulla, 57, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on September 24, 2026.

Vince was born on January 21, 1969 in Akron, Ohio to Dominic and Judy Pedulla. He had an adventurous spirit and after graduating from Tallmadge High School in 1987, he was thrilled to travel across the globe to Australia where he spent the summer with relatives, exploring the continent and working in the family hotel.

Upon returning, he attended the University of Akron for two years before starting a successful career in trucking.

Vince had a deep appreciation of the outdoors and felt most connected to nature when he was near water. He loved deep sea fishing during family vacations to Hilton Head and camping and fishing on the lakes of Ohio.

Creatively gifted, Vince enjoyed drawing, music, classic films, and cooking. His determination shone through in the homes he designed and built himself, each an expression of his passion and skill. He was also known for cooking his famous meatballs for Sunday dinners.

Vince's kindness was a cornerstone of his character. His sensitivity and genuine care for others also extended to animals. Devoted to his family, he cherished his parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren, always encouraging their dreams and aiding in their realization.

Vince was preceded in death by his father, Dominic Pedulla.

He will be forever remembered by his children, Vincent "Vinny" (Alyssa) Pedulla and Melissa (Nick) Gemma; mother, Judy Pedulla; sister, Gina Pedulla (Rick Hoffner); brother, Nicholas (Beth) Pedulla. He was a beloved "Papa" to his grandchildren, Beau, Myla, Maria and one on the way. He also leaves numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 pm, immediately followed by a 4:00 pm memorial service to celebrate Vince's life.
