Vincent J. "Vinnie" Pintiello, 65, passed away on March 18, 2014.
He was born in Butler, PA on September 5, 1948 to the late James and Margaret Pintiello. He was a lifelong avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Vincent had been employed at Akron Steel Treating for the past 23 years. He enjoyed spending time in the back yard with his beloved dog, Tino.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Angie Nocerra; and dog, Rocky. Survivors include his wife, Karen "Mouse", of 14 years; brother-in-law, David Nocerra, of Baltimore; children, James and Jennifer Pintiello, and Jessica Roades; grandchildren, Madison and Parker.
Special thanks to the nursing staff of 6W and the Palliative Care Unit at Akron City Hospital.
Calling hours will be Friday, 4-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m.
