Vincent E. Conti, 78, passed away January 14, 2011. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #24. Vincent was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; and daughter, Lynn. He is survived by his siblings, John (Ann) Conti, Rose Scappino, Jim (Barb) Simmons, and Margie (Harry) Werts; special friends, Jake and Dottie, Jim and Judy, Steve and Patricia, and Betty Johnson; and special niece, Amber. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 19, from 1 to 3 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will follow at 3 pm with Fr. Michael Williamson officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
