Vicki L. Adams

Vicki Lee Adams, 66, transitioned into her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. She enjoyed gardening, floral decorating and giving her time to many charitable causes. Vicki touched all those who knew her with encouraging words and prayers.


Vicki is preceded in death by husband, Norman Adams; mother, Naomi James; granddaughter, Brittany Lee Thomas.


She is survived by her father, Thomas James; children, Robert Tarbet II; Stacy (Dan)Thomas; Alexis (Eric) R. White; sister, Joni (Tim) Huffman; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.


Visitation will be held Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Free Methodist Church, 578 Killian Rd. Akron, Ohio 44319 with one hour visitation prior to service. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
