Vernon P. Galloway, 62, of Akron, passed away May 1, 2014. He was born in Akron on March 18, 1952 to the late Robert and Mildred Galloway. Vernon was employed at Acme Fence for greater than 24 years. He had 23 years of sobriety.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Galloway and sister, Barbra Dickie. Vernon is survived by his wife Jackie; daughter, Jade Frame; brothers, Glen and David Galloway; brother-in-law, Ed Dickie; nephew, Christopher (Dina) Dickey; niece, Stacey Hazelett; friend, Dick Day and family.
A graveside service will be held at Magodore Cemetery, Mogadore, OH on Saturday, May 17 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Bill Miller officiating.
